John Heitinga appointed head coach of Ajax
Ajax has reached an agreement with John Heitinga regarding the coach’s move to Amsterdam. Heitinga is signing a contract with Ajax as head coach until June 30, 2027. Marcel Keizer will be his assistant and is signing a contract of the same duration.

Heitinga: back in Mokum, back at 'his' Ajax
John Heitinga is the new head coach of Ajax. After years in the youth academy, hundreds of matches for Ajax’s first team, various coaching roles at the De Toekomst training complex, and a stint as assistant coach with Jong Ajax, he now embarks on his second spell as the club’s head coach.

Heitinga is home: 'Really excited to get started’
John Heitinga has returned to Ajax. He signed a two-year contract as head coach after spending two years in England with West Ham United and Liverpool. “Francesco Farioli laid a solid foundation here. We want to build on that moving forward,” Heitinga said.

Kroes on Heitinga: 'Excitement on both sides'
Technical Director Alex Kroes is pleased with the appointment of John Heitinga as Ajax’s new head coach. Marcel Keizer has also signed on as assistant coach. "It’s going to be a challenging summer. I’m glad we were able to make this decision quickly," said Kroes.

Milicia Keijzer has completed a move from Ajax to AC Milan. The 22-year-old defender is leaving the Amsterdam-based club after five years, marking the beginning of a new chapter in her career: an overseas adventure in Italy.

Ajax sign Ranneke Derks
Ajax have reached an agreement with Ranneke Derks regarding her transfer to the club. The forward has signed a three-year contract in Amsterdam, which will take effect on 1 July 2025 and run until 30 June 2028.
